After a number of discussions, and speaking with a number of folks who had already signed up, the class has been moved back to May 17-18, 2013 (a Friday and Saturday). Chapter-preferred signup ends on February 21, opening to outside chapters on Feb 22, and general signup ends on March 31.

Please let Jennifer know if you would like to sign up for her class by emailing us at columbineang@gmail.com.

January Meeting – Monday, January 21st at 6:30 pm

We will be having our monthly meeting on Monday, January 21st at 6:30 pm.  Please brave the cold and come join us for a great meeting!

Barb has organized a wonderful program this month – the Galaxy Needlepoint project by Needle Delights Originals!  We will be starting this year long project on Monday night.  Each month, we will work on a specific section of the project together until we finish the entire project.  I can’t wait to see all of the different color ways that people choose!

Photos from Our January Stitching Retreat!

We had a wonderful time at our stitching retreat last weekend at the Denver Museum Nature & Science!    Check out the pictures of our get together overlooking City Park!

Many thanks to Vickie M. for organizing this get together!  And many thanks to Julie S. for documenting our get together so well!

Epiphany Needlepoint of the Saint Clare’s Guild at Saint Michael & All Angels’

Prior to the holiday, your Columbine Board had mentioned the possibility of viewing the impressive needlepoint collection of the St. Clare’s Guild at Saint Michael & All Angels’ Episcopal Church in Denver on the Epiphany.  Unfortunately, the Church did not display its expansive needlepoint collection to non-parishioners during the Epiphany this year due to the health issues of its Pastor.  We hope that we may have this opportunity next year.  Our thoughts are with the Church and its members.

If you are interested in learning more, please see the Saint Clare’s Guild webpage.
