The Colorado Columbine Chapter of the American Needlepoint Guild continues its class on stitching Libby Sturdy’s Mile High Santa. We received line-drawn canvases in June, started Santa’s face and are figuring out how to make the design individual. See another Libby Sturdy Santa (above) with a wonderful background depicting windy skies! Karen R. shows her finished ‘Wyoming Santa’ by Libby. Just another idea for some fun stitching on Santa. Here’s a closeup:

  • Between our June meeting and July meeting you can get the rest of your threads.
  • Also, we will go thru the list of threads, and I will tell you “you need a yard of this for that area”.  We will also talk about thread options for various areas, depending on what you like to stitch with, or what you may have in your stash.
