October is a favorite needlepoint stitching month

October stitching is fun!
October stitching is fun!

The weather is cooler, the garden projects have slowed, most needlepoint stitching groups are back in full swing after a summer hiatus.

In October, the board of Colorado Columbine Chapter of American Needlepoint Guild continues to consider a proposal to merge our chapter with another local needlepoint chapter.  It is vital that the membership at large makes its wishes known to the members of the board.  Feel free to call any member of the board to relay your thoughts on this important consideration, particularly if you were not present at the September general meeting. It is also important to attend the next general meeting scheduled for Monday, October 20 at the Great Hall of Bethany Lutheran Church at 6:50 p.m.  It is much easier to communicate when members can meet face to face and discuss issues facing the group.

Our program in October will be the finishing process to create the Little Friendship Gift Boxes that we started in September.

So, lots on the agenda and lots of stitching to do, so plan to be on hand!
