Welcome back, Columbine members! After a year of zoom meetings, we are able to gather at Bethany Lutheran Church in Denver again on the third Monday night of the month. We still zoom, though, so if you are a remote member living outside of Denver, you are still able to enjoy the fun and expertise of our stitching group! Contact us for more information:

But that doesn’t mean we are not stitching! Members of the Colorado Columbine Chapter of the American Needlepoint Guild are at home, stitching safely until our meetings can resume.
Needlepointers are uniquely equipped to weather lockdowns & stay-safely-at-home orders. We are so very fortunate, and most of us have a supply of goodies that we never seem to have time to start. Well, enjoy the unexpected stitching time, and our board will be notifying us whenever our meeting place decides it is safe to assemble.
Meanwhile, these treats have been tee’d up since March, and will keep until we resume classes.

A panel of experts will be at our January 20, 2020 meeting to assist you with tackling that problematic canvas that never seems to move forward!
Go ahead and bring out those ‘problem kids’ and let us take a fresh look at them. Sometimes a striking color or new stitch can really bring a piece alive! Or, if you’re having trouble just putting the first stitch in, let our experts guide you.
They will have stitched examples and plenty of the new, hot stitch books to consult. Let new eyes take a new view of your weary canvas and get it finished!

Members of Colorado Columbine Chapter, ANG, will meet in March, 2019, to begin a class based on a popular ANG stitch guide called, ‘Honey I Shrunk the Heart!’ Sue E. has adapted the heart to a strawberry shape, and loaded the beautiful design yummy colors and beads. It is one of the classes offered by the group that encourages use of threads already owned, and patterns offered by the American Needlepoint Guild.

Hello members of the Colorado Columbine Chapter!
October is our membership renewal month.. and we have exciting news!
Need a reason to join?
* Our chapter offers a wonderful selection of various programs each month.
* We belong to the Colorado Consortium and have the opportunity to take classes taught by national instructors in a small classroom environment.
* We also offer members the chance to participate in the Cheyenne Mountain Stitch Retreat, with classes taught by national instructors.
* Because we are lucky enough to live in a state where several national instructors live, we encourage members to take ‘pilot’ classes when they are offered by instructors looking for feedback on a piece before teaching it at seminar. It is a great way to take a class for a reduced price before its taught nationally!
Now for the exciting news…
You have a chance to receive a year’s membership dues for FREE if you bring a new member who signs up and pays their dues.
Please make check payable to “CCC ANG” — $26 due in October.

The presentation will start promptly after the brief business meeting, so please be on time! Doors open at 6:30 and meeting is at 7 p.m. Don’t miss this dynamic duo!
